I chose this work because I've seen what happens when people are given effective tools and support. I've watched people move through difficult challenges to build a life that feels worth living. I believe you already have the strength to do the same; my role is to provide the clinical expertise that empowers you to become the expert of your own story.

I believe therapy is most effective as a conversation, where I'm there with you as a supportive and active presence. If you're feeling stuck, we'll explore what's holding you back and work through it together. My professional training will complement your self-awareness. Together, we'll discover what works best for you.

In our work, I draw on a variety of evidence-based tools, including CBT, EFT, and Exposure Therapy. My primary framework is Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I specialize in DBT because it is honest about what it asks of people; it acknowledges that changing deeply entrenched patterns is difficult, and it also shows us that it isn't impossible.

Whether we are working through emotional dysregulation, disordered eating, or the complexities of OCD and anxiety, I take a holistic approach. I look at the whole picture, including your relationships, your context, and the strengths you already have, to tailor our sessions to what you need.

I bring this commitment into my role as a Registered Clinical Social Worker. While my Master of Social Work and registration with the Ontario College (OCSWSSW) provide the clinical foundation for our sessions, my focus remains on the human being sitting across from me and the life you are working to build.
